DATE & LOCATION SET FOR CHS CLASS OF 1978 30 TH REUNION

Coronado’s new Community Center will be the site of the 30 th Reunion of Coronado High School’s Class of 1978 this summer. According to Reunion Committee Chair Mary Lou Staight, the festivities will begin on Wednesday, July 2, at 6 p.m.
“The party at the Community Center is just one event we are planning for the weekend,” Staight said. “We are looking for volunteers who want to head up a family picnic at Spreckles Park, a possible golf tournament, a progressive bike ride party and more.”
The reunion party at the Community Center, at 1845 Strand Way, will last until midnight and will include an encore performance of the band Etcetera, comprised of David Sanger from the class of ’78 and his older brother George, class of ’74.
Staight said that her committee members are primarily focused on obtaining contact information for each of their classmates at this point. All members of the Class of 1978 are requested to send their current contact information to Terri Gregory Moreau at atm71986@aol.com. “All ideas are welcome as long as we have a volunteer to take it on,” Staight said. “We have been thrilled with the response we have received so far and want to make sure we don’t leave anyone out.”
