Well folks, a great time was had by all!
Please be patient and stay tuned. Mary Lou is working on a brand new Web site for the CHS Class of 78 and will soon be posting pictures, comments and all sorts of good stuff about the last reunion and future reunions to come.
Check back soon and check back often!
We'll redirect this site to the new one as soon as it's ready.
Remember 1978? Carter was President, Superman made an appearance, John Travolta got Greased, and none of them could do any good against a vicious Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. The Globe burned and so did the Aerospace Museum. Coronado Plaza brought square burgers to the island and just about everyone in high school worked at, or at least made out in, Baskin Robbins.
Springsteen came to town and so did Bob Marley. The All Star game was played at the Murph that year, as was the very first Holiday Bowl. Really cool Islanders could always be seen at the B100 Boogie Bashes at the El Cortez. And Star Wars was a world-wide phenomenon. Remember standing in line around the entire Hotel Circle Cinema Theater?
Join us on July 2 at the new Coronado Community Center for a night you’ll never forget. We promise great entertainment, fabulous food and a whole lot of your old friends reminiscing about the good times. You’ll forget the bad ones as soon as you walk through the door.
And if you would like to see other activities happening throughout the 4th of July weekend, join our reunion committee. Contact Mary Lou at maryloustaight@juno.com for more information.
